July 10, 2017

Presenting the best looks from the recently concluded Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week 2017.

We've saved the best for the last.

Here comes the bride!

This Georges Chakra bride made an impressive entry dressed in a white contemporary bridal dress with flowers and sparkle, and knee-length boots. The flowing cape added a dramatic twist to the gorgeous outfit.

Watch out for Zuhair Murad's reincarnation of the Gibson girl as a fairy tale princess dressed in shimmer and sprays of crystals. Impressive, isn't it?

Lan Yu showed us how you can nail an all-white look in a pair of white trousers and a delightful sheer, ruffled cropped top.

Ziad Nakad embraced the Victorian-esque gowns and how! This model strode down the ramp in a romantic silhouette in green.

Black in all its glory, weaved subtly in this piece! It's amazing how sheer adds a certain lightness to this Elie Saab gown, which was inspired by the tale of fallen kings.

How about an embroidered jacket with a tailored pair of trousers?

It's here that old meets the new in Elie Saab's extraordinary collection. The intricate embroidery was an ode to the ornamental artistry of an era gone by.
