Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has successfully managed to entice audiences with its flagship phones that offer sleek features and upgrades at a premium price.

On May 14, 2019, the company launched its latest OnePlus 7 and One Plus 7 Pro along with its new Bullets Wireless 2 earphones in Bengaluru.

Scroll down to find out what's new and exciting about it.

OnePlus 7 Pro

With the launch of its OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus goes beyond its reputation of budget friendly flagship phones.

OnePlus 7 Pro is still priced under other flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S10 series and the Huawei P30 Pro.

In order to keep the price down, OnePlus has skipped a few premium features like IP rating for dust and water and resistance and wireless charging; but the phone is packed with all the premium essentials you will ever need.

Design

OnePlus 7 Pro has a 6.46" inch tall body which is 2.98" inch wide and 0.34" inch thick.

The back and front of the phone have curved edges and are protected by 3D corning gorilla glass.

The phone is available in three unique colours like mirror gray, nebula blue and almond.

There is no 3.5mm audio port. So you will have to use type-C to 3.5mm converter/adapter to access the type-C connector and use your old earphones.

Display

This is the department where OnePlus has set its standard high by introducing its new Fluid AMOLED QHD resolution (3120 x 1440 pixels) display.

This display has a refresh rate of 90 Hz to give smooth animation experience better than the standard 60 Hz found in other phones.

It offers an edge to edge display with screen to body ratio of 93 per cent.

The display also supports HDR (High Dynamic Ratio) promising a richer viewing experience.

IMAGE: The phone is powered by 4000 mAh battery which can be charged with OnePlus's Warp Charge 3.0 technology earlier introduced in Oneplus 6t McLaren edition.

Camera

In order to avoid notch or hole in the display OnePlus incorporates an elevated 16 mp front camera setup.

The camera retracts on accidental drops to Protect itself.

OnePlus also follows the triple camera setup on the rear.

The triple camera consists of main camera sensor as 48 mp, f/1.6 aperture with OIS and EIS, the other two as telephoto 8 mp f/2.4 and wide 16 mp f/2.2 with field of view of 117 degrees.

Sound

With no sharp edges and a smooth flowing design, it has a stylish instant appeal.
The flip side -- it weighs 206 gm, which makes it a bulky phone to carry around.

Software and Hardware

The phone runs on OxygenOS based on Android 9 supported by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 855 processor.

The device will be available in three variants with prices as mentioned below:
