There was drama, Gothic jewellery, and tons of ribbons!
It was a concept collection by designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The founding members of the Lakme India Fashion Week say they were 'forced' into participating for the first time at the Lakme Indi Fashion Week 2005.
Their collection did not disappoint. Yards of resham, georgettes and chamois flowed like poetry, embellished with chikan work, sequins and crystals.
This collection is a Diffusion line, which means it is not an off-the-rack/ prêt collection. "It is not for the common man," says Sandeep. "We just hope it will set a trend and inspire others!"
The collection is priced upwards of Rs 30,000.
