Ganeshotsav is on Monday, September 2.

The month-long festival brings along fond memories of colourful idols, celebrations...and of course, food.

How are you preparing for the festival?

Are you bringing Ganesha home?

Will you be making the traditional modak -- the steamed rice dumpling stuffed with jaggery and coconut?

Please watch: How to make steamed modaks

Or will you experiment and try it with pineapple, dark chocolate or cheese?

What are the other sweet and savoury snacks you cook during the festival?

If you are health conscious, may be you have planned some healthy alternatives that are low on salt, oil and sugar.

What is your favourite Ganesha recipe? Tell us where and how did you learn to make it.

We want you to send us your most interesting Ganpati recipes!

Simply write to getahead@rediff.co.in (subject: My Ganesha Recipe) along with your NAME, LOCATION and photograph of the recipe if possible. We'll publish the best ones right here on
