Boxer Mary Kom won India's first gold medal in boxing at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Badminton player Saina Nehwal  repeated history with her second CWG gold.

Shooter Heena Sidhu clinched gold despite an injury.

For shooter Shreyasi Singh, it was a 'milestone medal', as she also fulfilled her late father’s dream.

Finally, we saw how table tennis player Manika Batra added to the gold tally by winning the women's singles.

Femina India's July issue is a celebration of India's golden girl squad that made us proud this year.

The girls have been styled by Akshita Singh and they all look gorgeous in their new avtars.

Mary Kom rocks the cover in a black jumpsuit while Shreyasi Singh gives her company in a black peplum top and a casual denim jacket.

Heena has smartly paired her ivory mini with a denim jacket with silver and black stripes while Manika Batra is styled in a silver striped blue shirt with high-waisted mom jeans.

But Saina Nehwal clearly leads the style game looking oomphalicious in a monochrome pinstriped top, worn over distressed denims and mustard heels.
