Two gritty women -- Smita Gondkar and Anmol Rodrigues -- came together for an inspiring campaign this week.

Smita is an actor, runner up of Bigg Boss Marathi. Anmol is an acid attack survivor, a crusader for inclusivity and body positivity.

Dressed in bridal lehengas, they did a photoshoot riding on a bike to raise awareness about women safety and the importance of self-confidence.

Ahead of Independence Day, the duo revealed why it's time women need to stand up for their freedom.
