The India Today group has released its annual list of best business schools in India.

The rankings are part of a survey conducted by India Today in association with Marketing and Development Research Associates (MDRA).

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad has been ranked the number 1 business school across India.

Methodology

The institutes have been ranked on five broad parameters carrying a total weightage of 1,000-selection process, governance and establishment (weightage 150), learning experience (250), living experience (150), future orientation (200) and placement performance (250).

In all, 227 institutes (out of 3,000 plus business schools in India) participated in the survey and sent in their data.

The Indian Institute of Management-Lucknow and the Indian Institute of Management-Bangalore did not participate in the survey and hence are not listed in the rankings.
