The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta is the only Indian institute to have made it to the top 20 of the Financial Times Masters in Management rankings 2019.

The 15th edition of the Financial Times Masters in Management (MiM) ranking is out.

Of the 111 schools that participated in the rankings, the top 100 features the best institutes from around the world.

The eligibility criteria for FT's MiM 2019 rankings was simple -- the programmes must be full-time, cohort-based and have a minimum of 30 graduates each year. Also, the schools must be accredited by either AACSB or Equis to qualify for the rankings.

The top 100 institutes have been ranked based on their performance on multiple parameters addressing areas such as employment, salary, faculty, student diversity etc.

The University of St Gallen, Switzerland topped the overall rankings this year.

The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta is the only Indian institute to have made it to the top 20. It was ranked 17th in the list.

Among the other Indian institutes that made it to the top 100, the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad was ranked 21, the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore was placed at Number 44, the Indian Institute of Management Udaipur and Indian Institute of Management Indore at 76 and 81 ranks respectively.
