Youth of the Year contest

What: Maruti Suzuki India Limited, the country's leading car manufacturer along with Dun & Bradstreet, leading provider of global business information launched the most exciting youth event of the year -- Maruti Suzuki Colors of Youth 2011.

The first of its kind initiative will spot and celebrate young Indians who have a flair for both talent and intelligence. This unique search for youth all-rounders will cover over 300 professional colleges and B- schools in India.

The course of the competition, spread across 10 cities over two and half months, will consist of the first round of general auditions, followed by 10 City Final rounds and then by 4 Zonal Final rounds.

The grand finale will be held in New Delhi. The entire event will be aired on Zee Business.

Maruti Suzuki Colors of Youth will offer students -- the future leaders of India -- a platform to showcase their creativity, talent and knowledge to the country at large.

Participants will be judged on skills such as singing, dancing, music, standup comedy, innovation, quizzing, etc.

The challenge will have two broad categories: a rapid-fire quiz on Indian Business, and the current National and International scenario, and a talent showcase in any category - Music (Vocal or Instrumental), Dance or other arts (Stand-up comedy, Innovation, Car Graphics, Painting, etc).

Who can apply

Graduates pursuing professional courses and post graduates from any city in India can register for the competition.
