Chat with IAS topper Ira Singhal

July 24, 2015

This year's UPSC topper, Ira Singhal, is the first differently abled person to achieve this feat.

Join us for a chat with the young achiever on Monday, July 27, between 3 pm and 4 pm IST.

Soon after the Union Public Service Commission examination results were announced, Ira Singhal dominated the news headlines.

It was the first time a differently abled candidate had topped this exam. It wasn't, however, the first time she had cleared it.

She had cleared the exam in 2010, but was denied a posting because of her disability. Ira, 31, suffers from Scoliosis, a spine-related disorder.

She petitioned the Central Administrative Tribunal, won her case and was inducted in the civil services last year.

Read all about it here and here!

Join us in congratulating the young achiever through an online chat where she will interact with you, dear readers, and share her story.

She will also answer your questions -- you can post them here -- and offer tips to those who are planning to take this exam.

Do join the chat on Monday, July 27, 2015, at 3 pm IST.
