We'd asked you, dear readers, to take a selfie and tell us which your favourite books are.
Rediff reader Bhavna Pandit, 43 from Ahmedabad, Gujarat writes about her favourite book.
'Everyone knows that not all change is good or even necessary. But in the world that is constantly changing, it is to our advantage to learn how to adapt and enjoy something better.'
The above lines are from the wonderful book Who Moved My Cheese?
Authored by Dr Spencer Johnson, the book encourages the reader to adapt to the changes taking place in our surroundings with ease and flexibility.
Taking the example of two pairs of mice the author defines how easy and difficult we can make our lives by accepting or rejecting the changes in our lives.
I picked up the book tricked by its catchy title and also because it is a bestseller.
But when I started reading, I learnt that the book has a lot more to offer.
It holds an immense calibre to change the perspective of any individual, especially, the ones who avoid change.
It defines how a little flexibility can bring about many positive changes in our lives.
You too can participate and send us your responses.
