The Italian automaker Piaggio launched the Aprilia SR 125 scooter priced at Rs 65,310, ex-showroom, Delhi.

This is the the first 125cc offering from Aprilia in India.

Piaggio also revealed the Aprilia Storm 125. They didn't disclose the launch date.

The biggest difference between the Storm 125 and the SR 125 lies in the wheels. The Storm uses 12-inch ones instead of the 14-inch wheels seen on
the SR 125.

The scooter features 12-inch wheels, off-road tyres and bright colour schemes.

According to Piaggio, the Aprilia Storm 125 is designed for the youth and will come with a number of accessories.

Piaggio's most popular brand in India, the Vespa will now come with added features like a cell phone charging point. :-)

Piaggio also unvelied the Vespa e-scooter.

This electric scooter's standard version will have 100km range while the 'X' variant goes 200km with a range extender.

Vespa's e-scooter will also get a multimedia system with smartphone connectivity. Sadly, the company is yet to share the launch date.
