Kawasaki has launched a mini off-roader -- the KLX110 at Rs 2.91 lakh (on-road). The KLX110 is a small sized motorcycle that emulates the bigger KLX450 motocross bike.
The KLX110 is fitted with a 112cc, air-cooled, 4 stroke, single-cylinder engine that has 7.0bhp of power at 7500rpm and 8.0Nm of torque at 4500rpm.
The KLX110 has a length, width and height of 1560mm, 650mm and 955mm, respectively. It weighs 76kgs, with a fuel tank capacity of 3.5 litres.
The bike also features a centrifugal clutch and is without any clutch lever. It also features an electric starter.
The KLX110 will be brought to India via the CBU route. The bike is suitable for the very young and budding motocross enthusiasts, who want to build up on their skills and grow up to become motocross racers.
Kawasaki is expanding its line-up in India with the launch of the Versys 650 and the KLX110. It also plans to bring more products in 2016 and try to cover maximum spectrum in motorcycling and offer multiple choices to its customers.
