Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) Ltd. has finally launched the new 110cc commuter bike Livo at an introductory price of Rs 58,000 (on-road) in the country.

Honda Livo would be replacing the CB Twister and it has been offered in two trims: Livo Self-Drum-Alloy and Livo Self-Disc-Alloy. Despite being an entry-level commuter, the Livo comes with an array of sporty features and is placed above the Dream series.

Underpinning a steel tubular diamond chassis, the designing cues have been taken from various company bike, including its predecessor -- the CB Twister. The Livo comes loaded with premium features like chrome heat shield, Twister-esque red suspension springs, alloy wheels, a small exhaust muffler and brake light. There is a angular headlamp, while the analogue instrument cluster -- consisting of odometer, speedometer and fuel gauge -- seems to have taken a lot of inspiration from the Dream series.

The Honda Livo is available in four paint schemes: Athletic Blue Metallic, Pearl Amazing White, Sunset Brown Metallic and Black. Measuring 2020mm in length, 746mm in width and 1099mm in width, the bike comes with a ground clearance of 180mm.

Honda Livo derives its power from the same 110cc, air-cooled engine that was seen in the outgoing CB Twister. It develops a maximum power of 9bhp and peak torque of 9Nm. It is paired to a four-speed transmission, which propels the bike to touch a top speed of 86km/hr.

As far as mileage is concerend, the Honda Livo is claimed to return 74 km/l. The fuel tank capacity of the motorcycle is 8.5 litres, while it weighs 111 kgs.

The Livo features Honda Eco Tech (HET) mileage-enhancing technology that also improves engine combustion, reduces friction and optimises transmission. Just so you know, this is HMSI's ninth launch of 2015, and the company would launch six more products in this year. Below is the variant-wise pricing (on-road, Delhi) of the Honda Livo:

Honda Livo Self-Drum-Alloy -- Rs 58,000
Honda Livo Self-Disc-Alloy -- Rs 60,000
