The FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) had recently organised an interactive session with Anila Jyothi Reddy, President and CEO, Key Software Solutions, Inc.
The session titled "Scripting Her Destiny -- Farm Labourer to a Millionaire" saw Ms Reddy share her experiences.
Reddy said, "For women from the grassroots level, it is a huge task to make her way through the labyrinth of impediments in her entrepreneurial journey.
"I started by doing odd jobs. I promised myself to work towards creating a better life and learned the way of dealing with life in a hard and practical manner.
"The hardships taught me the value of life and made me think beyond the situation. The impediments in my journey became my courage."
Born to a poor peasant family in Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, Anila Jyothi Reddy has come a long way from a deprived childhood, being brought up in a government welfare orphanage, Balasadan, to becoming the founder president of a recruiting firm Keys Software Services, USA.
Reddy has scripted her own destiny and reached the zenith of accomplishment as a successful entrepreneur.
Though her journey from an orphanage to the top of the business world has been an arduous one, but today she is the CEO of a USD 15 million IT company based in Phoenix, Arizona, United States.

Her next dream to see that every Orphan in India to get an own Identity, recognition and enjoy equal opportunity.
Towards reaching that goal, she has been interacting and sensitizing various Government agencies, policy makers, politicians as well as Non-Government Organizations.
