Student counselling for careers in avionics

What: The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) calls ignited minds to realise their dreams at India's first Space University. The institute is organising Student Counselling for admission to its courses.

 

Details

~ The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) is a deemed to be university set up under Department of Space and offers undergraduate B Tech programme in Avionics, Aerospace Engineering and 5-year integrated masters in Applied Sciences.

 

~ The Institute provides a full fledged infrastructure of international standard to develop an excellent academic and research atmosphere. 

 

~ IIST announces the Student Counselling for admission to its academic programme on July 17-18, 2008 between 0900 hours to 2000 hours at Bangalore.

 

Procedure
The total counselling activities are divided into two parts viz, pre-counseling activities and counseling activities as follows (visit our website for more details).

 

Pre-counselling activities

~ Students placed in the extended merit list IIT-JEE-2008 and primary merit list of IIT-jee-2008 are invited to register their names, to seek admission into the Institute, online in IIST website from June 11-30, 2008

~ Based on the online registration and merit order, a combined list of students from extended merit list and primary merit list, who have not been allotted any seat by IIT-JEE-2008 in its counseling, will be generated for consideration for counseling.

 

~ Required number of students, in the order of merit, from the combined merit list will be invited for counseling scheduled on July 17-18, 2008.

 

~ Final list of candidates to be invited for the counseling will be announced in our website on July 4, 2008.
