What: Indian Institute of Forest Management announces admission for two year full-time postgraduate programme in Forestry Management
Details:
~ The programme is recognised as equivalent to a Master's degree by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE)
Eligibility:
~ The minimum eligibility criteria for admission is at least a three year Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities / AICTE as eligible for postgraduate studies with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ST or Persons with Disability category).
~ Reservation of seats for SC, ST and physically handicapped candidates are available as per Govt. of India rules.
~ Candidates appearing for the final graduate examination are also eligible to apply, provided they complete it by June 30, 2007.
How to apply
Step 1: All applicants seeking admission in PFM at IIFM, have to appear for Common Admission Test (CAT), that will be held on 18 November, 2007. The CAT application form and bulletin can be obtained from selected branches of UTI Bank from July 16 till August 16, 2007, The last date for submitting CAT application is 8 September, 2007. The IIFM will use the CAT score only for short-listing
