September 06, 2006 16:05 IST

There appears to be a new one coming up every other month. Across the country, newer, larger, brighter malls are springing up with reckless abandon. The funny thing is, a lot of them are earning a lot of money. There's a whole lot of impulse buying, for one, so all those footfalls are actually leading to big totals at the end of every month.

Do you spend a lot of time at any mall in your city? Is the mall culture tempting you to spend more money? Are so many malls good for us? Tell us.
