Does your boss listen to you?
July 27, 2006 14:44 IST

Sheila is a young executive who works in the human resources department of her company.

She wrote in to us saying her boss always feels she is in the wrong and rejects all her suggestions. This response makes her feel very demotivated. How can she handle this situation?

Should she have a straight talk with her boss and explain how she feels?

Should she be more aggressive with her ideas?

Should she look for a new job?

What would be your strategy in such a situation? Sheila would like your help.

You could be a working professional, a senior HR executive, a corporate trainer, a psychologist, etc. You could have been in a similar situation. You could have watched a colleague deal with this problem. Write in with your suggestions.
