What: The Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, invites delegates, entrepreneurs, professionals and MBA students to attend Arthanomics 2006, its annual finance seminar.
The seminar is a platform for finance gurus to share their experience and learning.
There will also be an NCDEX workshop on commodities and derivatives trading.

The seminar will cover the path for transition under the broad framework of Nyaya (regulations), Neethi (standards of conduct) and Kriya (actions).
~ Ms Uma Mohan, Head Customer Services, NCDEX will conduct a three hour workshop on commodities and derivatives trading.
The workshop is designed to impart adequate knowledge to the participants regarding the commodity markets in India, their evolution, product conceptualisation, design and contract specifications, risk mitigants and settlement process.
It would be supported by a demo of a live trading terminal to view the action on the quotes placed by the market participants. This is the first time NCDEX is partnering with a B-School to organise such a workshop.
Arthanomics 2006 includes a paper presentation on the topic, 'Financing the Infrastructure Growth in India over the Next 10 Years' on January 28. Participants include top B-Schools across the country. The presentation will judged by experts from Larsen & Toubro.
