At the end of the show, the show's host announced the entry of Gehani along with her friend Brian Lara.
The former West Indies cricket captain, who is considered one the best batsmen in the world, walked the ramp along with the designer for a few seconds and then slipped into the audience to join his friends.
Those few seconds, however, were enough to leave the audience swooning.
When we caught up with Lara after the show, he said he was very impressed with India designers.
We quizzed him about whether Gehani and he were friends.
"No, but I met her and liked her clothes," he said, before dashing to rescue a parched throat with a drink.
Lara looked dapper in a pair of jeans, white shirt and a black blazer or what we call 'smart casuals'.
Can you wear this?
Brian's ensemble is very wearable for an evening out, but the rest of Gehani's collection had too many frills, ruffles and shimmer to suit our taste.
What do you think of this outfit? Do let us know.
