Fly Delhi-Chicago non-stop

What: American Airlines will launch a non-stop service between Chicago and New Delhi.

Flight details

The airline will begin a daily non-stop service between Chicago's O'Hare International Airport and Delhi on November 15, subject to government approval.

The route is nearly 7,500 miles.

The airline will fly the route with its 236-seat Boeing 777-200 aircraft.

The flight from Chicago will take nearly 14 1/2 hours; the return trip will take 16 hours.

American Airlines has also reached a code-share and frequent flyer agreement with Air Sahara. The agreement, subject to government approval, will make it easier for passengers to book connections.

Chicago O'Hare to Delhi

AA 292 departure: 9.10 pm (local time)

AA 292 arrival: 11.05 pm (local time the next day)

Delhi to Chicago O'Hare

AA 293 departure: 1.30 am (local time)

AA 293 arrival: 5.55 am (local time)
