After the turmoil and uncertainty of the last few months, ever since his sentencing in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case, Sanjay Dutt begins shooting for his film Easy Monthly Installment (EMI) on Saturday (October 13).

A rather apt name, considering that the actor may end up shooting in fits and starts, given his uncertain future given his court appeal against his sentencing.

Anyway the film, which is produced by Popcorn Entertainment (owned by Suniel Shetty), is about the pros and cons of taking loans.

This will be ad filmmaker Saurav's directorial debut and Urmila Matondkar's film with Sanjay Dutt after Khoobsurat.

Meanwhile, Dutt's decision to shoot for the film came as a surprise to many, as the troubled star had refused to shoot even for his close friend Sanjay Gupta's film Alibaug.

The actor had also postponed the shooting of Sanjay Gadhvi's Kidnap because he did not look the part (his character sports long hair). Now, after a stint in prison, he is just waiting for his hair to grow back.
