First there was Deepali, the 18-year-old from Patna, courted onto her first date -- and that too with a fan, a young man who bought her a box of chocolates and took her to McDonalds, while the cameras watched and soft music was conveniently added on.
As the Indian Idol hopeful blushed, her 17-year-old colleague Ankita Mishra gushed over the guest star for this episode of Rubaru, Cash-star Riteish Deshmukh.
It was a memorable episode as 19-year-old Parleen Singh Gill was accused of picking style over singing, and in the docks as Idol turned into a courtroom.
Meanwhile, 17-year-old Emon Chatterjee strummed out a spirited, Bengali version of Pritam's Gangster song.
And then there was Riteish, who shook a leg several times, and even gave in to the Idols' fervent desire that he sing for them -- which he finally did pretty well, despite the early hesitation. He and the kids enjoyed a pretty chilled out vibe.
Indian Idol: Rubaru will be telecast Thursday at 9 pm, on Sony Entertainment Television.
