Madhuri returns to Marathi roots
January 05, 2007 13:55 IST

It's been a month since Madhuri Dixit arrived in Mumbai, and she already has her calendar full.

The actress looked glowing at the launch of a Marathi book called Marathi Taraka on January 4.

Madhuri will start shooting for a feature film directed by cinematographer Anil Mehta (Lagaan, Saathiya, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna) this month.

The Yash Raj banner film will also star Konkona Sensharma, Ranvir Shourey, Kunal Kapoor and Anupam Kher.

Reportedly, the film will see Madhuri play a theatre actress, and Kher will play her mentor.

The actress might also be part of fashion designer Vikram Phadnis's directorial debut, for which talks are still on.
