First Look: New York supports Water

The Indo-American Arts Council brought in the Oscars with a fun party in New York.

Also seen was Manu Narayan (inset), star of the musical Bombay Dreams.

The crowd was rooting for Deepa Mehta's Water, which lost out to the German film The Lives Of Others.
