Denzel Washington's inside story!

Denzel Washington has signed up to star in Universal Pictures' Inside Man, based on a screenplay by Russell Gewirtz and Menno Meyjes.

The project, to be directed by Spike Lee, revolves around a cop trying to confuse a bank robber in a hostage situation, Zap2It said, quoting The Hollywood Reporter.

Lee has earlier worked with Washington in Mo' Better Blues, Malcolm X and He Got Game.
