Shiv Sena has found 'nothing wrong' with the controversial anti-Muslim remarks allegedly made by Bharatiya Janata Party's Lok Sabha candidate Varun Gandhi.
"There is nothing wrong in what he has said. He is one Gandhi we like," Sena chief Bal Thackeray said in an editorial in party mouthpiece Saamana.
"There was no need for Varun to apologise for his remarks," the editorial said, adding "Varun has spoken out the truth."
Varun is in the eye of a storm over his anti-Muslim speeches at a rally in Pilibhit in Uttar Pradesh recently.
