Blaming media largely for the stand-off between the Congress and the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam over allocation of portfolios, Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad said on Saturday that he -- as a trouble-shooter-- would not travel to Chennai to meet DMK leaders to solve the issue.

"We will have one or two more rounds of discussions with DMK," said Azad, known for his crisis managerial skills.

The Congress and DMK enjoy a cordial relationship, it is the media which is rushing into conclusions, said Azad.

"Much before we could discuss matters with other side, it is all over in the media," Azad, who was expected to travel to Chennai today, said.
