At his sarcastic best, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today said wherever he goes he is chased by the "SRP", by which he did not mean the State Reserve Police, but referred to "Sonia Gandhi, Rahul and Priyanka".

"Friends, now a days wherever I go, I am chased by the SRP. They are behind me all the time," Modi said addressing an election rally in Ellisbridge, which was part of L K Advani's Gandhinagar constituency before delimitation.

"No I am not talking about the State Reserve Police. What I meant was Sonia, Rahul and Priyanka... SRP. They have been behind me from the very beginning of the election campaign," the BJP leader said.

"They even take turns to talk about me...on Monday Sonia, on Tuesday Rahul and on Wednesday its Priyanka. Again the cycle is repeated. As soon as it is morning they start chanting my name Modi..Modi.. Modi," the Gujarat CM said.

Taking a dig at Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Modi said, "Soniaji, since you are coming to Gujarat be ready for questions from the people here. I will give you the questions in advance so that you can get the answers incorporated in your written speech," Modi said.

Sonia will be in Gujarat on April 24.
