JD-S is with Third Front, hints Gowda

Former prime minister and Janata Dal (S) supremo H D Deve Gowda said has said he will meet Third Front leaders in New Delhi on May 17.

Gowda, however, added he would not be able to attend the proposed meeting with  Bahujan Samajwadi Party leader Mayawati on May 18.

He said, There is no political angle to it. May 18 is my birthday".

He said, "Every birthday, I visit Tirupathi. This year, too, I will do the same. I would,  however, join the discussions in New Delhi on May 19."

Gowda said he kept CPM boss Prakash Karat in the loop about the same.
