Senior Congress leader and key person in the new dispensation, Mohan Prakash said that he was not aware of any fresh orders asking former All India Congress Committee media incharge Veerapa Moily to hand over the charge of the media cell to Janardhan Dwivedi.

"It is for the media to highlight one aspect and ignore the other, as far as I am concerned Janadhanji was always in the picture but because of pre-occuptaion with the polls , he could not devote full attention to the media," Mohan Prakash said.

When asked about the formation of a new government at the centre, Dwivedi said,"Right now we are not even thinking about Cabinet formation. Let the results come first and then we will swing into action," he said.

Confident that the party has achieved a lot during the first four phases of elections, Dwivedi said that the Congress has become the focal point of discussions in almost all television debates. "I feel that the Congress as a party should have announced its intentions of going it alone in the elections. We would have gained a lot if we had done that."

"Let me tell you that though the Manmohan Singh government had a full tenure of five years in office but not a single voice was raised against the achievements of the present government," Dwivedi claimed.

Jairam Ramesh was tasked with keeping the party's top leadership aware of what is happening and coordinating between them, Dwivedi claimed.

"Let there be no misunderstanding that Manomhan Singh is our prime ministerial candidate. Even persons like Ram Vilas Paswan have said it on television that they are very much part of UPA," Dwivedi said.
