"It's a misuse of CM's office to influence the tea lobby before the polls and a violation of the model poll code of conduct", BJP's coordinator for the Northeast, Harendra Pratap said.
CPI national executive memebr Promode Gogoi on Thursday said that his party had taken note of CM's disclosure and would move the Election Commission to probe the matter.
