President A P J Abdul Kalam on Thursday accepted Union Coal Minister Shibu Soren's resignation.
Soren on Thursday afternoon was sworn in as Jharkhand chief minister.
A Rashtrapti Bhavan press release announced the acceptance of Soren's resignation.
