Around 22% of the 4.72 crore voters in Tamil Nadu exercised their franchise in the state's 39 Lok Sabha constituencies till 1100 IST, Monday.
While three Chennai constituencies reported brisk polling of 30%, in the districts the percentage ranged between 18 and 25, official sources said.
No toward incident was reported from any place, police said.
