With electioneering reaching a crescendo, Congress candidate for New Delhi constituency Ajay Maken went hi-tech on his campaign by launching a website through which people can chat 'live' with him.
"From tomorrow, people of my constituency and outside can chat live with me from 11 pm to midnight through the web site www.ajaymaken.com and ask questions about my visions and priorities," he told reporters here. "I will now be available both physically and virtually to the people."
Maken also did not miss out on the opportunity to take a snipe at the "online abilities" of his BJP opponent, Union Minister Jagmohan.

Maken said his traditional campaigning schedule was responsible for the "odd time" and promised to change the timings if elected.
"I will continue the web site even after elections if I get a good response and will change the timings to 7-8 pm," he said.
The web site would also explain Maken's vision on environment, education, public transport, water, sewage and other public issues, he said. The chat site can support 100 people at a time and would use filtering software to screen "questions containing obscene words", Maken said.
