Kannada actor, Ananth Nag, on Thursday joined the Janat Dal (Secular) led by former prime minister H D Deve Gowda, staging a comeback after keeping a low profile for a few years.
Nag joined the party in Gowda's presence in Bangalore. He said he was happy and proud to be back in the party which was once part of the larger Janata Dal family, where he began his political career.
Nag was a close associate of late Ramakrishna Hegde and J H Patel and was a member of the Patel ministry.
