Congress-backed independent candidate Ram Jethmalani on Monday filed his nomination papers from the Lucknow Lok Sabha seat against Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Jethmalani arrived at the collectorate premises in an impressive procession, which started from the state Congress headquarters.
Leaders of the Congress, Lok Janshakti Party, Bahujan Kisan Dal and the Rashtriya Parivartan Dal accompanied him.
