Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who will contest the Lucknow parliamentary seat, will file nomination papers on April 15, Bharatiya Janata Party sources said on Thursday in New Delhi.
Vajpayee is seeking re-election for the fifth consecutive time from Lucknow.
The PM is the only parliamentarian who has been elected from four different states -- Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi.
