India are sweating over the fitness of Yuvraj Singh ahead of their World T20 semi-final against the West Indies, in Mumbai, on Thursday.

The left-handed batsman twisted his left ankle while batting against Australia in Mohali on Sunday and looked in pain out in the middle after that mishap.

On Tuesday, in Mumbai, he underwent MRI scans, which showed no fracture or ligament tear.

A call on him playing the match will be taken after he undergoes a fitness test on Wednesday.

Manish Pandey, who joined the Indian team as cover for Yuvraj on Monday, will come into the squad in case the latter is ruled out of the match.

Ajinkya Rahane is likely to be drafted into the playing eleven in case Yuvraj misses out because of injury.

The Mumbai right-hander underwent batting sessions at the Brabourne stadium on Tuesday along with Pandey under the watchful eyes of batting coach Sanjay Bangar.
