Windies ODIs: Raina to lead; Yuvraj, Gambhir out

Suresh Raina will India in the ODI series against the West Indies next month after both Gautam Gambhir and Yuvraj Singh were ruled out on account of injury.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India, after the selection committee meeting in Chennai on Friday, said Gambhir will also be unavailable for the Test series that follows immediately.

"Yuvraj Singh will also be unavailable for the full tour. He is suffering from an upper respiratory infection, with a small patch of pneumonitis in the left lung," the BCCI added.

Shikhar Dhawan and Manoj Tiwary have been named replacements for Gambhir and Yuvraj for the one-off Twenty20 match and five-match ODI series.

Sachin Tendulkar will also miss the entire tour after he requested that he be allowed to spend time with his family. However, he will be available for the full tour of England, that follows.
