Former Pakistan speedster Waqar Younis has said that he is ready to help Australian bowlers to lift the Ashes once again.
Waqar, who is currently hired by the Pakistan for the ongoing Australia series, said he would relish working with exciting Australian fast bowlers like Mitchell Johnson and Doug Bollinger.
"Johnson and Bollinger are very talented bowlers and it would be a pleasure to work with guys like this. They are hard-working kids and they can only get better and better," he said.
"I would love to work with the Australian bowlers. I've got the ODIs to go and then I'm a free. My contract with the PCB was just for this tour, and because I live in Australia, it was a bit of help for them.
"I don't really know what I'm going to be doing next, but ultimately I am a professional coach and if there is a job for Australia I'd certainly help," The Daily Times quoted Waqar, as saying.
Waqar, one of world's best swing bowlers of all time, said he was hugely impressed by Australian bowlers in the just concluded Test series against Pakistan, and that he would love to help Ricky Ponting prepare his pace battery for the Ashes mission in November.
