Pakistan became the fourth country to win the Under-19 World Cup after Australia (1988 & 2002), England (1998) and India (2000) when they beat the West Indies by 25 runs in the final.
Pakistan is also the first team to defend their total successfully in a World Cup final. In the previous four finals, the teams batting second won the championship.
