The cricketing community has rallied behind New South Wales all-rounder Sean Abbott whose bouncer struck Phillip Hughes.
Hughes died in a Sydney hospital on Thursday, two days after being hit on the head during a Sheffield Shield game.
Abbott was distraught when Hughes staggered after being hit. He was one of the first players to rush to help the injured batsman.
The Australian Cricketers Association said it is monitoring Abbott closely. All players involved in the match are receiving counselling and psychological support.
