Rajasthan Police has confirmed that there is a terror threat to the first One-Day International (ODI) to be played between India and South Africa at the Sawai Mansingh stadium in Jaipur.
Jaipur Inspector General (IG) B L Soni said, "We have intelligence inputs of a threat in the first ODI."
"We have beefed up security around the Sawai Mansingh stadium," added Soni.
India plays its first ODI at the Sawai Mansingh stadium on February 21.
South African skipper Graeme Smith has been ruled out of the three match ODI series after failing to recover from a finger injury. Jacques Kallis would lead the side in the absence of Smith.
Indian fast-bowler Zaheer Khan, who has also been ruled out of the ODI series, will be replaced by fast-bowler S Sreesanth.
