India suffered a humiliating 180-run defeat at the hands of Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy final at the Oval in London on Sunday to register their worst defeat in terms of runs against their arch-rivals.
The previous record was the 159-run loss in Delhi in 2005.
Pakistan were at their dominant best as they posted an imposing 338 for four after they were put into bat and then bundled out holders India for a lowly 158 in 30.3 overs to win the ICC Champions Trophy for the first time.
