# Tendulkar's brilliant innings of 160 is his highest ever in New Zealand, eclipsing the 113 at Wellington in 1998.
# Tendulkar's aforesaid innings is exceeded only by Rahul Dravid for India at Hamilton -- 190 in 1998-99.
# Tendulkar has scored 150 or more in an innings 18 times, equalling Don Bradman's feat. Only Brian Lara (19) has recorded more 150-plus innings than Tendulkar.
# Tendulkar and Mahendra Singh Dhoni put on 115 runs, India's highest ever sixth-wicket partnership in New Zealand, bettering the 70 between Ajit Wadekar and ML Jaisimha at Wellington in 1967-68.
# Zaheer Khan is the seventh Indian bowler to take 200 Test wickets when he had Tim McIntosh caught at first slip by Tendulkar.
# Zaheer is the third left-arm fast bowler after Wasim Akram (414) and Chaminda Vaas (354) and the first left-arm speedster from India to capture 200 Test wickets. Overall, he is the seventh Indian to claim 200 wickets.
# Anil Kumble (619), Kapil Dev (434), Harbhajan Singh (316), Bishan Singh Bedi (266), Bhagwat Chandrasekhar (242), Javagal Srinath (236) and Zaheer Khan (200) are the seven Indian bowlers in the 200-wicket club.
# Zaheer Khan (51 not out off 46 balls) registered his highest score against New Zealand, bettering his 19 at Wellington in 2002-03.
# Zaheer's third fifty in Tests is his first against New Zealand.
# India have taken a first innings lead of over 200 (241) for the first time in New Zealand.
# India (520 off 152.4 overs) registered their highest ever total at Seddon Park, Hamilton, beating the 416 in 1998-99.
