Stats: Hat-trick of wins for India at Cuttack

The statistical highlights of the third One-Day International between India and Sri Lanka, played in Cuttack, on Monday.

# India's magnificent win by seven wickets is their third in a row at the Barabati Stadium, having won their previous two games -- by 20 runs against West Indies on January 24, 2007 and by six wickets against England on November 26, 2008.

# India posted their first win over Sri Lanka at the Barabati Stadium. The hosts have now won 9 games out of 13 contested at this venue.

# Sachin Tendulkar (96 not out) recorded his highest score against Sri Lanka at the Barabati Stadium.

# Tendulkar's 96 is his 18th score in the nineties -- the 17th half-century against Sri Lanka and the 93rd in ODIs.

# Tendulkar now has 18 innings of 90 or more in ODIs to his credit -- an unwanted record.

# With 208 runs at an average of 104, Tendulkar is the leading run-getter for India in the current five-match series. Sehwag is next in the list with 194 runs at an average of 64.66.

# Tendulkar is the first batsman to aggregate 400 runs at the Barabati Stadium with an aggregate of 469 runs at an average of 58.62 in 10 matches, including one century and three fifties.

# Under Virender Sehwag's leadership, India have won three and lost three out of six matches.

# Sehwag recorded his best innings in ODIs as captain, surpassing the 43 against Bangladesh at Dhaka on April 15, 2003 on his debut as captain.

# Ravindra Jadeja (4 for 32) posted his best bowling figures in ODIs, outstripping the 3 for 35 against Australia at Nagpur on October 28, 2009.

# Jadeja received his first Man of the Match award in ODIs.

# Tillakaratne Dilshan, with his 41 off 18 balls, became the first batsman to amass 300 runs in the current series -- 324 at an average of 108.00 including two hundreds.

# Dilshan's run tally is a Sri Lankan record in a bilateral series against India, outstripping Sangakkara's tally of 296 (avg.49.33) in seven games in 2005-06.

# Dilshan's performance is also his best in a bilateral series/competition in ODIs, outstripping the 277 (ave.30.77) in 11 games in the 2005-06 VB series in Australia.

# Sri Lanka (239) recorded their highest total at the Barabati Stadium, obliterating the 214 they scored on December 28, 1990.

# Dilshan is the first player to complete 2,500 runs in international cricket in 2009, aggregating 2,539 at an average of 57.70, including 10 hundreds and eight fifties in 40 matches.

# Tharanga has posted his third fifty against India -- his 13th in ODIs.

# Tharanga and Sangakkara recorded Sri Lanka's first century stand (2nd wicket) for any wicket at the Barabati Stadium.

# Dilshan and Tharanga's 65-run stand for the first wicket is also a Sri Lankan record against India at this venue.
