The incident took place after the Kings XI pacer was hit for a boundary off a free-hit, after being adjudged for two successive no balls. After the match, match referee S Venkataraghavan fined Sreesanth 20 per cent of his match fee.
The Kerala pacer has pleaded guilty to a Level 1 offence (Article 2.1.3), which relates to "showing dissent at an umpire's decision."
