Fans of Sourav Ganguly will get a lifetime chance to spend time with their idol on the former India captain's 40th birthday on Sunday.
Known for keeping his birthday celebrations strictly a private affair, Ganguly will come out in the public on the special occasion and will be at the Music World outlet on Park Street from noon onwards and oblige his fans.
To be up and close with their hero, the fans will have to buy the DVD of The Warrior Prince, a documentary on the life of the most successful Indian Test skipper.
"The first 50 fans who buy the DVD between today and tomorrow till 11 am will get an opportunity to get their DVD signed by Sourav. After this 20 more lucky fans will be selected by draw of lots from those buying a copy of the film," producers of the documentary, M S Productions, said.
"We are grateful to Ganguly that he has agreed to appear in public on this special day," producer-director of the documentary Mitali Ghoshal said.
